    Disadvantages: Dropsy could be seen within a month after surgery, and while scar of cutting line is obvious within 3-6 months. But they all gradually disappear later. It’s more complicated than line-buried approach and hard to restore or rectify when surgery doesn’t go well

Which one is better to make, broad double eye-lid or narrow one?

    It’s up to one’s facial form, width between superciliary arch and palpebral margin (width of upper eye-lid), depth of eye holes, thickness of upper eye-lid, and etc. Broad double eye-lid is better for people whose facial form is broad, upper eye-lid is wide, eyehole is deep. Otherwise, narrow one is better. Broad eye-lid is not suitable for Eastern people for their narrow and thick eye-lid, flat eye hole and low superciliary arch. 5-7 mm is generally proper. Your aim is to make your small and dull eyes into beautiful, glorious and vivid, not to get the obvious double-fold eyelid.

Can people who have one eye single-layer and another double-layer take operations?

    Some people are born with one single-layer eye and another double-layer eye so as to one is bigger than another. They can become the same size after the surgery. If it is well-shaped and needs no surgery, the natural double eye-lid can be a standard to restore another single-layer eyelid to make those two the same. If it is not well-shaped or not so double-folded, it’s better to do operation on both eyes to make a symmetric pair.
