    Though, Gynecomastia, this oddly named condition is rarely talked about, it’s actually quite common. There is no known cause in the vast majority of cases, but it’s commonly believed that the estrogen hormones are so profuse that the balance between estrogen hormones and androgen hormones are lost. It causes the glandular tissue to overdevelop and therefore makes the breast enlarged.

    Gynecomastia is common during puberty, is self-limiting, and usually goes away over one or two years. Thus the operation should not be an option unless the situation doesn’t change.

     The most typical procedure is to keep the nipple, areola and skin and cut away the excess glandular tissue. As to the excess fat, the surgeon will likely use liposuction to remove it in order to make the surgery more perfect.

Phimosis
